How easywill works

  1. Is an easywill suitable for you?

Read through the ‘Important information’ page to help you decide whether an easywill is suitable for you.

If easywill is suitable for you, then please proceed to create an account.

If you answered ‘Yes’ to any of the points raised on the Important information page then you may need to seek more specialist advice from a lawyer. If you wish to make an appointment with one of our estate planners, please contact us through the make an appointment link.

  2. Create an account

To make an easywill, you first need to create an account. Simply complete the ‘Account details’ information with your email address and password.

  3. Complete the Easywill questionnaire

Provide your personal details as well as the details of your spouse/partner, children, beneficiaries, Executor, guardians for any minor children and funeral arrangements.

If you have a spouse/partner you may also choose to select our mirror Will option to create the same Will in their name.

  4. Confirm your details and question responses

Review all your responses and personal details to ensure they are correct. You can choose to edit/save your Will instructions and come back at any other time using your easywill login.

  5. Payment

    Make a secure online payment.

  6. Signing your Will

Your Will will be posted to you within two to five business days of you completing your easywill.

Sign your Will before appropriate witnesses (full signing instructions will accompany the Will) and return it to Australian Executor Trustees in the reply paid envelope provided and we will check the Will has been signed correctly. Where AET is appointed executor we will store it free of charge. In the instance we are not storing your Will, we will return it to you once checked for you to store in a safe location.
